BackgroundExibit is a privately owned Western Australian company operating from offices in Northbridge, Western Australia. The business was established in 1999 through the acquisition and merger of Perth's two main exhibition companies. Since 1999, Exibit has conducted over 60 consumer shows including WA on Show in 2004 to mark the opening of the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre ("PCEC") and again in 2008 to celebrate the completion of the Southern Suburbs railway project. Core ActivityThe core activity of the business is the creation, marketing and management of consumer shows. Exibit is the largest exhibition client of the PCEC and currently conducts five annual events at the venue each year. Over the course of a year, these PCEC events feature over 1,000 exhibitor display booths, attract nearly 60,000 visitors and occupy some 40,000 square metres of pavilion space. A further 200 exhibitors and 20,000 people attend the Fremantle Boat Show and the Bunbury Home Show annually.
